The purpose of Faux A Good Time kits is to provide you with everything you need to complete your faux finish or cabinet refinishing project.

 

We take the guesswork out of your projects. No more trying to figure out what tools or products you need. No more guessing or asking someone who may not know what the correct steps are to get the look you want. No more 15 trips to the local hardware and paint stores to try to complete your faux finish project.

 

All you do is tell us the size of your job, the colors you want to use, and a kit with the *video for the finish you chose, the tools, and the product shows up on your doorstep.

 

To figure out what size of kit you need do the following:

 

1) Count all surfaces. Surfaces include doors, drawers, and areas of your cabinet or furniture base that are roughly the size of a door. When figuring this up a door counts as "1" surface, every 2 drawers counts as "1" surface, and each area about the size of a door counts as "1" surface. Add all of your surfaces together. An average kitchen has 30 to 35 surfaces. This is what you will choose in the "# of surfaces" field for your kit.

 

2) Next you will need to choose your base coat color, glaze, gel stain (where applicable), and Bling Film (where applicable). These products will be sent to you in proportion to the "# of surfaces" you have selected.
